Sorry that it took me so long to respond to your PM. Yes, I lived in Greensboro for 15 years! I graduated High School from the Greensboro Day School on Lawndale Drive. We had a weekend place at Sugar Mountain, near Banner Elk. It was a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive at the time, but should be a considerably shorter trip now that they have made 421 4 lane with a 65 MPH Speed limit.
