Hi Laura,
No, I have not tried any of the original offered exercises. There was one exercise, I would not ever ask my dog to do, where the dog was required to dive under a overturned boat to save a victim, In my opinion, it puts a dog in too much danger. I won't willingly choose to ask my dog to do something I believe could physically put their life in danger, especially working out of my sight to do it.
A couple of the other exercises required multiple boats and people to orient it, so its very difficult to get enough people and boats together on a regular basis to train it.
This last issue of Newf Tide showed a modified list of exercises that look to be more promising, so it will be interesting to see how they evolve and develop to become a WRDX level.
