Wolf Park

I began my internship at Wolf Park in Indiana about two weeks ago. It's been great--it is especially best when I get to walk alone around the enclosures at evening and watch the animals. It is a real thrill to walk the enclosures and have the wolves follow/show interest in you. I have been posting photos to a blog for those who might be interested; many more photos there! ~Photos here~

P.S. sorry for the huge photo size here, I tried to fix it but it didn't work!

Great pics. I hope the internship is enjoyable. I have a friend that has adopted a wolf at the park. Or maybe sponsored one? Not sure of the official role, but she visits there and calls him her wolf. :)

Ohh my gosh. Crying. These pictures remind me of Spike. You are lucky to see these beautiful animals so much.

I have a friend that did a couple-day photo shoot at wolf park and she had an amazing experience. Very cool!

So cool! I think our local Zoo's wolves came from there. They use to howl when sirens could be heard in the distance. One night after our Halloween event I was parking the train, and had to walk back by the display when it was almost pitch black. There were sirens on the near by highway, and they started to howl. Glad there were 2 fences between me and them. :shocker:

I am sorry I never took to opportunity to go in their area like I did with cheetahs.
