I'm hoping I'm not the only one with a "wild Puppy". 90% of the time Maggie is very good and obedient. 10% of the time she is quite unruly. She is 4 months old and her wild episodes usually start when my daughters come home to visit and they play hide and seek with her or just wrestle around with her. Her pupping biting becomes harder and her listening skills go right out the window. We go to obedience class and she is always great there. She walks on a loose leash real good too(with treats of course). Sometimes, just for a second I get worried that as she grows bigger I won't be able to handle her. Should I refuse to play with her during these wild moments? She is kennaled at night and is always on a long leash when in the rest of the house mostly because she is not completly potty broken yet. I guess I just would like some advice from all you other newf owners and some reassurance that I'm not doing something wrong.
She loves to ride in the car and to play with the kids and sheltie next door. She likes to snuggle sometimes too so I know theres hope.
Thanks,
Brenda and Maggie
p.s my daughter are full grown and she also acts this way with my husband Jerry(who isn't worried a bit)
