Why I love Trond

I love my geek, I do, I do.. for he is very spicy too!
Ok enough Dr. Seuss LOL.
One of the things that have kept me sane living in Europe is being able to speak to friends and family at home. From the beginning I was not shy about using the phone to call the other side of the pond when i wanted to. But the bills have started to get out of control.. and since I am the CEO and do all bill paying I can't claim i didn't know... so i started to cut myself back, not only was it hard but I was starting to get a bit depressed... Trond picked up on this.., he even asked if I had talked to so and so lately.. I told him the phone bills were getting out of control. Trond fixed that for me... He got me a NYC number that very evening. 5 days later we had the conversion box. I pay $6.99 a month and i can make as many calls as i like.. and the best part is friends and family can now call me and it's a local call for them.. FREE! The sound is perfect.. I'm so happy! The down side is folks don't tend to look at the time difference so i have had a few calls at 3am that almost made my heart stop LOL.. but all is fine now... so if anyone wants my new local NYC number.. just PM me.

Congratulations! Some of my German friends have things like that and can make cheaper phone calls. Email's great, but sometimes you just have to talk to the person!

Tech-toys have a myriad of 'good things'..that they can allow to happen. Pacing the conversations..will also be interesting, as you retrain the statesiders..to the time diff., and to see 'who you call' and the number of times per week..as a gauge for how much time might have shifted..from..say a year ago..to 'doing things' in-country, out and about..etc. You may find yourself engaging more..with the local circumstances, flowing out..further..into the lifestyle and contacts, avail. to you..now.
