a legend for the color codes in the data base of Euro dogs?

I would also like to know...our Max is listed as:

His color is listed as SrB. He is a black Newf with a tiny spot of white on his chest and two toes are white on his back feet.
From how I read it...he had a dam that was B and a sire that was SrSw.

I have seen the legend before..somewhere..on the german base I think..I know "S" is black (schwartz) I think I spelled it right..I just can't remember the rest. The english version says they have not got that part going yet.

Can't help you, but you are correct with S being schwartz or black. That is what Typhoon is listed as.

S = black
SrGrau = black recessive grey
Grau = grey
SrSW = black recessive Black&white
SrSWrGrau = black recessive black&white recessive grey
SrB = black recessive brown

others:
B = brown
SmB = Black but with Brown in the same litter
SW = black & white
SmSW = Black but with a Black & white in the same litter

etc.

So the basic colours are S (Black), B (Brown), SW (Black&white), Grau (Grey).

The first letter is always what colour that dog is. If there is a rB, rSW, rGrau it means that the dog is recessive in that colour (r = recessive). If there is mB, mSW, mGrau it means that the dog was from a litter with that coloured puppies (m = "with" )
