What a day!

Taver had a crazy busy day. The first thing that happened to the poor boy was a new hairdo. It was totally unplanned but opportunity knocked and he ended up being my grooming lesson. I got to spend 3 hours soaking up knowledge from Penny Shubert. Wow just the lesson on how to brush him out was awesome. It really makes a difference to see what people are talking about rather than just read it.

Then the even bigger thing. Taver got a sister.

It was awesome. Total surprise. I knew she was going to be around and I had hoped to watch and maybe ask a question or two, because I'm clueless and I just got my first set of shears. Lol poor Taver and Gwena, doomed to be my learning aids. She even got rid of his yak butt! Ok it's temporary but it is gone for the moment!

Lucky you! I would give anything to have been in your place! Now you'll have to share with the rest of us! LOL. OK, we'll give you a little time to practice first. I do hope you are going to video your grooming sessions.

Penny is who taught me to groom newfs. I worked for Windwagon Newfoundlands and when she came there I had private lessons. Many private lessons.
