Last night was the Dugnard.. Dugnard is when all the neighbors come out (U only talk to them once a year on Dugnard day,, then they disappear till the next Dugnard) and clean up the garden, wash the hall windows and do some light maintenance on the building... well they painted the stairs last night and they are not dry yet.. i could care less about walking on the wet paint but what do I do about Kelvinn? I don't want him getting strong oil wood paint on his pads. He's got to go out soon.. and i don't know what to do.. These ppl are so cheap! They voted down covering the stairs in stone, or any other material that could just be washed clean. I'm thinking cutting up a towel and using rubber bands around his pads just to get him out.. but then the towel would be slippery... any idea's? Poor Kelvinn he needs to pee!

Problem Solved! Put a pair of old socks on Kelvinn paws.. Blue ones on the front.. pink on the back (sorry buddy).. they worked well enough.. poor Kelvinn i think he was a bit humiliated but handled it very well.

:lol: Susan!! Your neighbors painted your steps?? Well.....it was a nice idea! Next year send them this way. I can keep them busy for the whole night.....all of them!

So, where's that picture?

Donna, the steps are to the hall.. everyone uses them of course.. now the smart thing to do would have been to paint half the step one night so ppl could use the other side in the morning, and then the next evening paint the other side, but no.. the Dugnard is only 1 day and one can not be flexible.. LOL.

Send them over to your house? Please.. the neighbors only come out once a year and talk to each other.. of course this is after spending $50,000 on the backyard with a $5000 picnic table and bench that no one has ever used... because that might mean u might run into one of your neighbors and we can't have that.. it's just not done, u might be forced to say hello.. or maybe not.. Nassa gets this.. she understands and for both of us (Nessa and myself) it's way to funny.

I have the pictures.. on my Iphone.. i have so many to post.. i should take some time and post all those pics i have promised... but the sun is out and it's warm out.. so u gotta get your rays (with sunblock of course) while you can :D

Well ok..yes the visuals are terrific..and now..I am guessing that another picture could be taken..and it would show you and Kelvin..him in the socks pattern you mentioned..and you..in a pink sock and a blue sock..to match. AWWwwww...come on! ;) ina n HB

I think next year you should take a plaster imprint of Kelvinn's feet and then use the mold to make paw prints up and down the wet painted floors. I think this would look better until the following year when they decided to stop painting lol :whistling:
