Hi Everyone!! This is such a wonderful site! I am so pleased to be a part of it. One thing that I have learned about those who are fortunate enough to be a part of a Newfie's life is that the humans they attach themselves to are so special.My friend who introduced me to the Newf world 7 years ago once told me -when you look into the eyes of a Newf{any Newf} we can see a kind human being looking back at you. He told me that the Indians who were very good on Earth were rewarded by the gods when they passed. They came back as Newfoundlands. Maybe this is why Newfie people are so wonderful!Thanks for all of your welcomes! Mickey [4 months]and more accurately experiencing the "terrible twos" will have his picture posted soon -if I can figure out how to do it! See you all soon--Charlene

It's nice to see another Long Islander join the list. I also have a newf pup who is around the same age. Hunter is 4 1/2 mths. Can't wait to see pictures of your little guy.
