Weird Bump - Anyone know what this is?

While grooming Bo tonight, we found a weird little wart-type bump on the outside of his back, right foot. It's not painful to the touch. About the size of a pea. A little bit more pink than skin-colored, and almost looks like it might flake off.
Any idea what this might be?
Here are some pictures of it:

Looks like an Adenoma. Bella gets them. I have hers frozen off and biopsied. They've never come out cancerous but when they get to a certain size we do take them off. If it starts to bleed or look red and angry then you should really get it looked at. My vet said those are signs it is no longer benign.

I normally tie things like that off with dental floss and they usually are gone within a week. I've done it for a friend's Lab who had a big black one on the side of his head, for my friend's 13 year old Newf who had one on her eyelid and for a tiny one on Tiika's leg. They all fell off within a week. Both my friends were very happy to have avoided the vet bills. We used to do it even for babies with extra fingers that didn't have bone in them. If it doesn't work, then see the vet.

Thanks all! He was just in the vet last Tuesday and Thursday, and I was really hoping we could avoid another vet bill, at least for a little while.

Joan, I will have to try the dental floss trick - the bump already looks loose. Great idea!

Yikes, scary bump. Hope it goes away quickly! Great picture to show what it is and nice to get all the reassuring responses! I sent you a pm but your mailbox is full....
