weight gain

Done anyone know of any food or any tricks to get a newf to gain weight? Sara my 11 1/2 year old I think need to gain some weight. Although she is not too skinny, I would just like to see a bit more weight on her

It just may be her age. My almost 10 yr old lab has been losing weight slowly over the past yr or 2 and the vet says he is fine. He eats more than the other dogs, but continues to be the thinnest. I would say that as long as she is otherwise healthy, then I would not worry about it.

I wouldn't worry about Sara being skinny. My friend has a Samojed (is this the english word too?) with hip displasya. She is now 14 years old and still very active and happy and healthy. And she IS skinny - but I guess she feels good this way.
