Way to hot!

It was an absolute stinker here today, 44 degrees C (approx 112 degrees F)

Poor Tayla has spent the whole day sleeping and eating ice blocks to keep cool. We don't have air conditioning. Our house is normally really cool and you don't notice the heat but today it is like being in a sauna.
What I wouldn't give for some snow right now. Anyone want to swap.

Wow, so there is sunshine besides Calif., and I thought our 86% weather today was warm ! Its really HOT where your are ! Is that unusually warm for you this time of year ? Bet you wont get many offers to swap for that heat

I would almost swap! Almost... That's a bit too hot. But one of my husband's students told him today "Enjoy the heatwave, it's supposed to go up to 26 F this weekend!" How sad...I can't wait. It has been wickedly cold here (single digits) for weeks.
I'll swap for 30 minutes. How's that?

Is it dry heat or humid?? I might swap for the dry heat. Right now it's -1F and might get into the 20sF today. Looks like more temps in the single digits (F) will be arriving next week. At this rate, 23 yesterday seemed like aheat wave. We were almost ready to break out the shorts!

I'd swap for a day, but I would have to leave the newfies here. As stated in the other replies, there is a heat wave coming in Tuesday. Suppose to get to 35 degrees F, bit it is to rain also. That is OK much better than 14*F or below with windchills of -20*F

It's a tough call... but.. I think I'll pass!!! As someone else pointed out... there's not a lot you can do to cool off before the police are called... I can't deal without A/C... I grew up in a house that had central air, so I'm totally unconditioned, a total wimp, and I would whine too much. Anyone around me would want to kill me!!!

I just saw the weather. They changed the forcast. To be only 25 degrees F with snow.

Today it is only going to be 38 (100.4). Much Better and without the hot wind like yesterday. We are just waiting for Tays Breakfast to settle and then we are off to the beach for a swim before it gets to crowded.

It's 0 F here right now, with the windchill. We're looking at a balmy 36 this weekend! woo hoo! get out the shorts!
