Want to do a parade?

The weekend of the get together is the same weekend as the Annie Oakley Festival. On Saturday morning their is parade through downtown. Now this is not a small parade. To stand and watch it probably is longer than an hour.

How about getting a space in the parade for our newfs. The parade is at 9. We can walk only the short distance through down town (about 5 blocks) then return to our cars and come out here to start our activities.

There is not cost to be in the parade. Gary and I have taken the dogs in parades here before and had made the front page of the local paper with only 2 newfs. Imagine the impact of 40 newfs and some other breeds also.

Let me know if we want to do this. I have to reserve a space in advance. So I have posted a poll the majority rules.

Karen, feel free to walk my Newman. I'm the only one in my family that does. When we take the 3 boys out...I get Newman! He is so unruly, but so adorable.

I think this sounds fun! The Water Workshop is scheduled for the morning, but we could probably push that back....

The parade has a theme, so I will find out what it is. Maybe we can win the best entry trophy or something. Gary and I won it one year in the Santa parade.

Anyway, we're in! What a fantastic sight it will be!! Kids in the crowd won't believe it.

Instead of spray paint, though, I would suggest temporary spray in halloween type color....MUSH easier to get out, and the associated stiffness would be about the same as drool....
