Every year my husband and I rent a cottage close to his family on Cape Cod. Figaro has always gone with us...after all, it's just not a vacation without him along, too! This year though, we'd like to go for two weeks, and we now have the puppy as well. We've been asked to do several really fun things with his family--white water rafting, ATV runs with the kids, etc. My question is, what do we do with the dogs on the days? We obviously couldn't (and wouldn't) leave them in the car and we have no relative who could watch them.
Are there reputable "puppy day cares" or kennels that would watch our guys for a day or two? The second week of our trip is just going to the beach, so the pups will be with us the entire time at that point. This has been such a dilemma for us. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
By the way, our little guy is up to 70 lbs. now and just turned 6 months! He's doing GREAT!
