Update on Newf in Nevada

Hi everyone: This info was posted on Newf-L. For those of you who are not getting messages, I thought I would post part of the message updating you on the female Newf found wandering in Nevada. Sounds like she is in good hands. It's amazing what can be done when Newf lovers get together an try to help.

Apparently there were quite a few people who were willing to assist!!

"The magnificent Newfoundland Club of Northern California's rescue crew now have this girl in custody. They say she is a real sweetie, will probably need a long foster, as she is 27" at the shoulder and only weighs 65 pounds. "

I am saddened to hear that this girl was in this kind of shape but I am confident that she is now in the hands of the right people.

Thanks for the update, Stormy! Now that she's in good hands, I know that things will only get better for her. I'm glad that this story's going to have a happy ending.

It saddens my heart to hear how under-nourished that poor girl is! I am SO glad she was rescued when she was, because I don't think she would have made it much longer had she lost anymore weight!!

I was so saddened by this story when I heard it. But now I am relieved to know that she is in wonderful hands. She's a lucky girl with beautiful makings and soon will be on the mend. Someone will be very lucky to get her. Thanks for the update.
