Oh the ramp! My dear husband built it for me last Sunday in unbelieveable heat! When he was done (minus the outdoor carpet) he said " I got her in, it's up to YOU to get her out!" He takes that 50/50 marriagge thing toooo serious!!! LOL! The table was a wonderful idea, but by the time we put that in there was no room for the kids to swim. I don't want them thinking we love Maggie more than them....I love them all even! tee hee.

Off to the the internet I go...Then I found it! STAIRS!!! Stairs going in, stairs coming out, guard rail and a GATE!!!! Oh crap, now I have to tell husband all the work was for nothing! Uhhh, gotta think! Ok, he's still at work, so I have time to think of some wonderful reasons to really sell him on this! Then had to think of some ways to use what he had made somewhere else. The platfrom was an easy fix. Cut the legs down, I can tile the top.Perfect, we have just replaced the outdoor table that some PAWson sat on last year and bent the table leg to the point of no repair! Ok, now, what to do with the ramp...Put legs on it and husband has new outdoor table to do repairs on!
Husband gets home, I bat my eyes at him, I hear "What are you up to?" Dang it, he's on to me! Shouldn't have gone the mushy route, he knows that's NOT me. FINE! Full on honesty! Tell him all about it and ready myself for the big debate about to erupt! He says "Ok, that sounds great!" WHAT??? All my plotting and planning gone to waste! Humph!
So, stairs are on the way. I guess now I need to figure out how to tile a table top!

Hahaha! Such a juggling act we Mom's have to perform, eh? My oldest daughter is sure we love the Newfs more than her and she's a grown-up, lol. ;)

If it wasn't hovering around 50 degrees here, I would think the pool looks very inviting-doesn't have to be big as long as you can get wet. :D Maggie looks like she's have the best time!

I bought a large kiddie pool earlier this year - the hard plastic kind, just like yours. We only had it for one day, Moby (our puppy) emptied it by sitting on the edge of it, then he dragged it around the yard, then scratched holes in the bottom. I guess he just doesn't get the concept of a pool.
