Hey Guys,
I've been feeding Elwood Holistic Select Lamb and Rice for the past few years. It was one of the few foods both he and our late Maple both did well on. Lately, whenever I am reaching the last quarter or so of a giant bag I ask "I've still got enough left for a gradual transition, should I switch him to something else like Acana?" The goober is 8 now (not that you can tell), and while he's doing stellar on the Holistic Select I can't help but wonder if I should find a new food. Note - we tried Orijen a while back with...er...disastrous results (some bags were good, some bags caused, well...you know). I'm guessing the best option is raw or that (was it fish and rice? diet some of you are cooking up, but as a person who considers a three course mean to be grilled cheese, tomato soup, and Cheez-its that ain't looking so good!
Thanks!
Michelle
