That time of year.....

Harvest time! The plums are finally ripe......

No Mom, I don't have a plum in my mouth......yup, those leaves are a dead give away - she didn't realize they were hanging out I think. I am amazed at what she can hide in those jowls!!!!!! But not this time

And check out this cool visitor we had in our backyard yesterday morning! I think it's a great horned owl.

Love it!! Maggie steals from our garden all the time. She pulled up carrots once and the tops hanging out of her mouth definitely gave her away!

Chumley harvests his fruits and veggies from the compost pile. The dirt all over his mush tells all. He picks through it to find trace pieces of broccoli, his favorite. Just bought a compost tumbler to keep him out of it.
