Thank you Donna (ardeagold) for organizing another great OC get-together. We had a wonderful time again!

Thanks also to Sue (Suse) for breakfast both days and Donna (orion drulzelot) for organizing dinner.

It was a perfect weekend with a lot of wonderful people to hang out with.

Thank you all!!!

Thank you too Donna for all the work you put into the OC gtg. I truly enjoyed talking to you and all who attended. The rooms were great, and we really worked to clean it before we left, so they'll invite us back again, I hope. Thank you too Drulzelot for all your work. You both should be thoroughly exhausted. By the way, I just love Frankie.

You're all very welcome! I really enjoyed meeting everyone and their wonderful pups and families! It was a fun weekend for all!

Thanks to Donna H for her fantastic organization of all things "food"! We had more than plenty!

And to Sue Snyder for the breakfasts. Everyone enjoyed them so much, and the early morning gatherings were a great start to each day!

The raffle was a good success. Many thanks to all of you who donated and who purchased tickets!

Four of those present won a "basket" of prizes. Those were, Sue Snyder (Suse), Dawn and Family (Sunseeker32), and Deb (Landseergirl). Mike Serafin (Newfy) won the beautiful box hand made by Jeff (Logan).

Three who didn't attend also won "baskets". They are Patty and Mike Taylor, Renee Woods, and Janie Knetzer. Their packages will be shipped out to them on Friday.

The proceeds from the raffle will be donated to CNC (Colonial Newfoundland Club) Rescue per agreement by all who attended.

Once again the weather was wonderful, so hopefully we can all get together again next year, with even more attendees, and the sun will shine down on us once more!! You never know what the weather will bring, but so far, it's been excellent!

Hope to see you all again next year, and also those who weren't able to attend this year!

PS...Frankie was loving all the attention too. His angel persona quickly disappeared as soon as he got home. Back to harassing Ray and Ellie, running from me when I call, barking for everything he wants (he's quite a talker at home), etc. He's back to being a normal puppy boy. I believe he was a bit overwhelmed at the new location, people, dogs, etc. so as Lou Ann says "He had his party manners on". It was his first big socialization event outside his home and pack, so he was taking it all in. Don't let that fool you...he's really quite a lively little guy!

Well Donna, like I said at the get-together, if he needs socialized in a busy urban area, we'll be glad to have him in Northern Virginia for a couple of weeks

I find it very hard to believe that Mr. Fluffy Head Frankie misbehaves EVER, but if he needs more socialization, feel free to send him to me after he visits Sharon and Art. It's the least I could do.
