Takota the Goofus Newfus

Got a few good shots of Kota being his "goofus newfus" self this evening. He rarely gets in laps but daddy said ok. Once up there Kota said " Mom, get that camera busy" ! LOL

Then I tried for a couple of head shots and got a lucky one in the batch.

I love how they (well ours anyway) don't actually sit on you, more around you. Otherwise you'd be squashed for sure!

Kota is very good about not really sitting on you even though it looks like he is. In this pic the back half is "sitting" on the console and front paws are on the seat. At 135 it's a good thing this is his idea of getting in daddy's lap. Bella (our "pocket" newf at 70lbs) actually sits or lays on his lap but she's a lot lighter, and Ursa just lays her head in your lap.
It's hard to believe that he's only been here 5 months and bite daddy on first meeting him. Thankfully it was cold and there was a heavy jacket on the arm! Now he's a daddy's boy half the time. He's a special and sweet goof.
