Swimming pool

We are trying to sell our house and move to one with a much larger garden.

One of the things we are considering is building a pool ,will have to be fenced off when not in use.also we will use solar panels to heat it and lm considering using a pond pump to clean it out.

We are looking at the above ground type and wondered if there were any recommendations or things it's best to know before we do it

Ours will enjoy it though working out ramps both sides rather than steps is a bit tricky plus we've thought of integrating a set of steps inside the pool so they can sit there if they aren't brave enough.plus l want to make sure any hedgehogs are safe as well if they fall in the water

We had a kayak pool and loved it, as it had a drain at the bottom of the pool to help clean and filter. I was looking but couldn't find where someone had put a table into their pool for their pups to take a break on if needed.

With the kayak you could jump into the pool as the sides were supported. There is a deck all the way around and steps that up put up and lock. Am thinking a regular ramp might work to get the pups up the 3 steps and they have those floating ramps to get them out of too.
