Hi everyone - It's been a long time since I've been here - the forum moved and I couldn't figure out how to log back in, and didn't have the patience! Took some time this morning and figured it out. Yippee!

Anyway, this pic is of my 3 1/2 year old Herb and his (then 3 month now 5 month) old nephew Fozzy. This was Fozzy's very first time out in the water.

I was wondering what happened to you and all your beautiful photography! I'm glad you made it back and brought another picture for us!

That is a beautiful picture, very calming. I just can't get over it, it sure does belong on a calendar!

I agree with the others, it definitely is calendar material. Looks like Herb is doing a wonderful job of keeping an eye on Fozzy. :D

I absolutely love it...you should make your OWN Newf calendar...I would buy it instead of the Brown Trout one I get every year (as much as I like it!).

You could call it - The Adventures of Herb & Fozzy. :D

Thanks everyone, glad you like it! It's nice to be back. It was taken with my 35mm with telephoto lens. If it was a digital pic, the image would be clearer, scanning takes out some of the clarity. Annie, I think I may enter this one in Newf Tide this year. I like it because it shows the gentle quality of our newfies and what they like doing best
