Geoff, that is one pretty baby and great job on the photography! More often than not, you see just a big, black blob but your pictures came out splendid. They definitely do justice to your Suki.

Hi guys!

Thanks for the nice comments! Suki is actually supposed to be a black, but her outer coat(guard hairs) hasn't come in at all yet, and her undercoat is definitely brown. The images actually have her somewhat lighter than she is in real life, but it looks like she will have a definite bronze cast on her black coat when her coat is fully developed. It'll almost look like root beer! I'll post more pics as they come along, and as she grows!!!! Take care.

OH how really sweet , love the color, the first and only newfie i ever saw before i got tuggs was brown like your baby.

How old is she and how much does she weigh? I love the color of coat. Yep, had one of those water bowls too but it didn't work with Kodi.

Suki was born on Sept. 21, so she was 4.5 months old when we got her last Saturday, and she was 30 pounds at the time. The picture with her on the hardwood floor in our family room was taken on the day that we got her. The pics of her on the lawn(yes, it needs mowing--but we've ignored the lawn to play with Suki!
)in our backyard was taken this past Saturday, just 1 week after we brought her home. 'Though we haven't weighed her, we think that she's probably around 35 pounds, and just a bit taller!

Thanks for all of the nice thoughts and comments! I've been checking out as many of the pics posted as time allows, and I am really impressed with all of the beautiful newfies and other "children" that you all have! Thank you for sharing as well! When I said "as time allows", I mean that everytime I jump on the computer, Suki wants to know why I'm so interested in sitting in this room, fluttering my fingers, and staring at this strange box with the sunlight in it! 'Gotta go! Suki calls!!!

Fabulous! what great pictures..I wish I could take pictures like that. What an adorable pup. I just want to hug, hug, hug!

Such a cutie! She looks like she's just about to move into the "knee socks" stage (as my vet calls it). At this age Molly had all her fluffy brown fur everywhere but her feet. There she had her second coat up to her knees. It looked like she had knee socks on.... I can see kneesocks happening to Suki too
