Thanks so much Jeannie. We're enjoying our time with her.

Oh, any advice on the best way to groom her? She could use a good bath but I don't want her to stand for too long. Thought of doing a quick wash and then seeing if she could lie on the table and we'd blow dry each side and stand her quickly to blow out her hind quarters.

When mine get older I will wash them. To dry I lay a quilt on the ground and let them lay down while I dry each side. Of course the quilt gets wet so have a few available. I try to break the grooming up over a few days. Wash/dry one day, trim part the next and so on. Sometimes it would take a week to complete a wash and trim. That is one reason why I take mine shorter as they get older. Right now Chase is about 1 1/2 inches long all over. I usually tunnel out the belly, which they can lay down while I do that. I also trim paws and hocks while they lay down. I don't except them to look like show dogs, just be clean and comfortable.

Whoa. Two pills once a day would have put Moonlight into a stupor. We gave one pill twice a day to spread it out.

She's doing pretty good. The back stairs I think will always be an issue for her but aside from that, thankfully she is doing well overall. Where once we had basement dwelling Stormie, we now have underneath the back deck dwelling Stormie. I swear she's gotten more fresh air the last month or so than she's had in ages..LOL. We did have a bit of a scare with her yesterday because she refused breakfast. This girl absolutely lives for food and treats!! Thankfully she ate a couple hours later and also ate her dinner and breakfast this morning.

Thanks for asking!

Thank you! I was out in the yard yesterday and she comes out from under the porch. Took one look at me and made a beeline back under there..LOL. She made it clear she did NOT want to come inside. Not a problem Norma. Whatever you want:nod::groovy:

You got it, Anne. She gave me another scare today. It's a little warm and humid today. I came home from work and looked outside and saw Storm sprawled out on the ground in full sunlight. I went racing out to check on her and she rolled over, yawned and stretched. She was just sunbathing:sunflower::groovy: LOL. I guess i worry too
Much:nod:
