Sore Toe

I took Scarlett for a walk about an hour ago and she started limping. She did not jump up or sprain her ankle/leg/foot. I just finished examining her paws and legs and found a small blister on one of her toes on her front left paw. I bathed her yesterday and she did not have this and she has had no other symptoms prior to when she stared limping on our walk.
I just soaked her foot in warm water and peroxide and I think she might have gotten piece of a thorn or a shard of glass in her toe although I do not see anything because the blister appeared out of nowhere and she did not step on hot pavement or anything. I will take her to the vet tomorrow if she is still limping or has the bubble on her toe but is there anything I can do tonight? She seems to be in pain.

Is it possible her toes did not get thoroughly dried after her bath? If they remained wet she could possibly be getting a little yeasty there....those things can pop up literally over nignt.
Best thing you can do for now is keep the foot/toe dry. If it still seems painful or irritated tomorrow you might want to get it looked at. She could have something in the skin. I am sure you checked to make sure she doesn't have anything stuck in the webbing of her toes....

Thanks, I did check the webbing of her toes and tried to examine her whole paw. I see nothing except the little bubble/blister. I soaked it again in Dawn dishwashing soap (unscented) and warm water and I dried it. It is possible that her paw was not thoroughly dried though when I gave her a bath last night. She seems to be doing better and not limping much right now so I will check it again in the morning and call the vet if it is still bothering her. Thank you!

I will give her an extra smooch for you! She has turned into a real lover and really enjoys cuddling these days. Her toe looks fine today and she is not limping. I am glad to see her back to her happy little self! Thank you for your help.
