There will be quite a few. I haven't gone before but want to go next year. Our Northern CA specialty I want to say had about 150 entries last year? Southern CA might have a little less but I really have no idea. You might be able to check past entry on jbradshaw.com. They aren't as good as infodog about posting results and stuff, but if its not still up on the website maybe you could email them? Or better yet email the Southern CA club. The show is put on by the Newfoundland Club of Southern California. Hope we see you there!

Thanks for the info. 150 newfs would be great to see, but when I checked for the event entries (previous - January 08, 09, 10, 11), there were only between 45-50 dogs at the show same numbers we usually get at normal shows in Europe). Let me know if the statistics that I looked up are / are not right. It's a LONG way to go anyway!

Hmm, AKC says there were only 60 entered at our regional too. I'll have to see if I can find my catalog from last years show, but I know it was more than that, and at least 100. It doesn't look like they counted sweeps or obedience? I would still email the Southern CA club and ask them how many entries they had last year.

Also, off subject a little, but you have 40-50 entries at your regular shows! That is a lot!
