Sheba,s not feeling good again (nn)

her mouth is fine but now she is losing her balance vet wants to try the steroids for tonight and she how she is tomorrow. the vets didn't see her but i talked to her on the phone. got to call her back tomorrow i dont think i can take any more stress.

i have not had my blood pressure meds in over 6 months and all this is not helping.

Sorry to hear all this Jennifer. Maybe Sheba has geriatric vestibulitis?
Are you supposed to be taking the blood pressure meds? If so, why aren't you on them now?

yes i am but i have not been able to see my doc to get some more. i have to see my doc to get my meds changed i seen another doc about 7 month ago and she changed my meds but they had some interesting side effects so i had to stop taking them.

i just want Sheba back to normal this is getting frustrating.

Now Jen you are also supposed to look after yourself, not only the dogs. it will be no good if you get sick too.

hope you are feeling better, now go make an appointment to get some more meds or if you can get them online do so. Its difficult enough dealing with a sick newf when you feel well let alone when your not at your best.

If she is losing balance she may have an inner ear infection,

we went to the vet today although the pred has been working i felt better having the vet look at her. there is definitely something wrong with her one back leg. it was funny the vet stopped at our house with her kids to trick or treat lol. so another 2 weeks with meds and a recheck.
