She Did It!!

I've put off Bri's CGC for a while since she's been so shy with new people in the past. After a lot of work she's gotten so much braver meeting new folks, so we went ahead and tried for her CGC.

SHE PASSED!!! Not only did she pass the CGC with flying colors, the evaluator let her try for the new Community Canine as well, and she got it!!

So exciting, I'm so so proud of her! :D

Congratulations! This is the first I have ever heard of the CGCA.

Where did you do your training? Since we failed our CGC after taking multiple classes with the same training school I feel awkward going back.
While we were in class the instructor kept telling us all we were doing great and that the test was harder than what we were doing in class...

Thanks everyone!

Shelly, we did most of Bri's basic training at Ahimsa in Seattle. They were absolutely wonderful! This past class that had the CGC at the end was an intermediate class run by the evaluator at the local community center. The trainer was really nice, she made sure we had a chance to practice all of the different parts at some point during the class. If you're in the area I can PM you her contact information.

Actually both our dogs went to puppy class there! We switched training centers for a bigger area but I guess bigger isn't better. I will have to check out their schedules. Thanks!
