.....Guilty....Yup, that would be me....sadly, we have plenty dogs right now, with 3 more coming in tomorrow....not all are up on our sight as we need to get them Vetted first, or through illnesses.
I do believe this economy is really hurting people harder right now than ever before. More Newfs being found as strays and people losing everything, including businesses, and are downsizing to apartments. One case they are moving into a small camper that a family member owns. We've had several calls lately with people who have already been out of work for months and are now desperate with only a day or two of food left for the dog, and nothing for themselves. Its really hard knowing these people would not be giving up these Newfs if they had a job and they are sobbing on the phone as they try to tell you about their baby.....

Susan...as the rescue secretary for BMNC we have a few applicants approved with home visits done...can we help is we can arrange transport?
