Recommendation for Car Ramp?

We are starting to amass all the things we will need for our new family member and I am trying to find the best ramp for our medium size SUV. Any recommendations?

We are using the Petstep ramp with Moby to get him in / out of our ‘lifted’ Jeep TJ (Wrangler) with a bumper height of 28.5 inches. We ordered it through Costco (Canada) on line when they had it on sale and it was delivered directly to our door. Works great with us & Moby, very sturdy construction and the claim it will support up to 500 lbs. It has been used is all weather and we have not had any problems with it becoming slippery in the rain. The only down side I can see with the Petstep ramp and probably other ramps is you need somewhere to carry them in your vehicle. I have used a small ratchet strap to secure the ramp against the roll cage when the ramp is placed on its edge. Very pleased with the product.

We have a Pilot and a Forester, and this one fits in both:

I bungee it into the side of the cargo area using the tie-downs.

Warning, when we first got this ramp we had an Outback and it barely fit, so ours got ever so slightly torqued and now can be hard to expand, especially in colder weather.

If our car were any bigger than a Pilot, I'd get the 84" one, but the 72" works well for us.

Boj refused to use the ramp after a while, so we use petloader and love it. Less of a dramatic angle to get in to the car = less fear for my meathead. Riggs has been going up and down with no problem since day one. Worked for my Chevy Tahoe and for our Suburu outback.

We have had the same one for our Avalanche, as Yorkyville and it works well. We started Sully off with it when he was a pup to make him used to it, and to avoid the injury of jumping in, and out.
