Oh my god! Ludo!!!! I cannot, for the life of me, get Shawn to sit through Labyrinth in it's entirety. He can be such a snooty patooty sometimes! I think it's Bowie's proudly displayed package that makes him feel a bit uncomfortable

This time, it was a police car going by with the sirens on. But he'll do it for all emergency vehicles, and also other dogs howling. Much like in 101 Dalmations - he joins The Long Howl.

The best was when we all walked in the Christmas Parade up in north Jersey, and the Newfs were walking directly in front of the fire engines. That were driving along with their sirens on. Pooka walked the ENTIRE parade with his nose in the air, howling along with them. It was a riot.

(he tripped a lot.)

LOL! So distinctly different than a "moof," huh? Sometimes Morris has a series of moofs that sounds like a howl, but nothing that intense!!

Yes, very distinct from a moof or even a series of woo-woos. This is the Rock Calling - serious business indeed.

LOL that was GREAT! That's so funny too, since right before I read this, hubs and I were in the kitchen with the dogs having a howling session with Vino the IG Bava was ready to get anything/anyone who was hurting him (or maybe put Vino out of his misery??)

LUDO!! That's completely awesome. Chewie doesn't do that...though he has occasionally turned my office into the Bog of Eternal Stench...

Lewis doesn't howl at sirens. He'll woof but no howls. I remember watching police shows on tv as a child so our German Shepards would howl. I'd howl in laughter with them. Thanks for bringing back that memory.
