Thanks everyone. Learning how to take decent photos has been a process, and I'm the bottom of the learning ladder.

Some, you will notice are slightly blurry, but they're in there anyway cause I liked the pic!

And then there are the hundreds that are downright awful!

Laurel, I'm using a Canon Digital Rebel, and for these pics I used the Canon 50mm F/1.8 Lens. I used the Auto Action setting for action shots, and the Av setting at an F stop of either 1.8 or up to 2.4 for the still closeups.

Yes, Sailorgirl, I think they are happy. And tired!
