Paws Abilities 2012- March 10&11

For those of you in the PA area or close proximity, there is a fun dog gathering at the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA (http://www.pafarmshowcomplex.com/Events-Schedule.aspx) every March. (The same location as the AKC Blue/Grey cluster in April.) It is open to all breeds.

Paws Abilities benefits the Susquehanna Service Dogs, a program of Keystone Children and Family Services and an agency of Keystone Human Services (non-profit). They provide service and hearing dogs for children and adults with disabilities. So far they have helped over 150+ individuals. It is on March 10th and 11th. The admission covers both days of the event. Normally I go over 1 day with the kids and then go the 2nd day to get all of my goodies.

There are events in Rally Obedience, Breed Matches, Obedience Show and Go, and Dock Dog competitions. They also have fun activities like Dog Olympics, Canine Freestyle, Fun Agility, The Great Biscuit Bite Off, and more.

It is a great event. Went years back and did some therapy dog testing. while there I came upon an animal communicator who read my dog. It was amazing!!!! I took her card but can't find it, I wish I knew who she was. If anyone has any idea let me know please!

I don't know of the communicator, 2nd Chance. I would love to hear of your experience with them though. It's been something' I've considered.

Tractor Supply in York had one also.. but I don't know who that was either.
