Orijen. Is it too much protein for my pup?

This is what I've been feeding for about 3 years or more. My two St. Bernards are 6 years old, and have been doing great on this. However, my 6-month old Newfy still has soft stool, and it seems like too much of it, too.

Ingredients:
Chicken, chicken meal (natural source of glucosamine), corn gluten meal, brewers rice, animal fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols - form of vitamin E), ground yellow corn, ground wheat, calcium phosphate, dried beet pulp, dried egg product, brewers dried yeast, animal digest, salt, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, L-lysine monohydrochloride, choline cholride, zinc sulfate, vitamin E supplement, L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate (source of vitamin C), ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, niacin, vitamine A supplement, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, copper sulfate, riboflavin supplement, vitamin B-12 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, garlic oil, folic acid, vitamin D3 supplement, calcium iodate, biotin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of vitamin K activity), sodium selenite.

I switched the pup to Natural Balance Duck & Potato, but there's only a marginal improvement. I was considering changing to Orijen 6 Fresh Fish. Does this seem like a smart move?

I appreciate any advice... thank you.

That might have been misleading. I've been feeding Members Mark Exceed, Chicken for 6 years. That is brand of food I listed with all the info.

Hmm.....I see four sources of grain/carbohydrate in the first seven ingredients....That's a LOT of carbohydrate and grains. At 30%, that is a high percentage of protein for a pup to handle, if it is coming mostly from carbohydrates (which dogs really don't digest too well).
I would guess that things could only improve for your pup on Orijen. Though the protein is higher, most of the calories come from protein sources rather than carbs.
I think Skookum would do fine on it.....You should definitely see his stomach settle down.....
Also, could be the chicken.....My Sophie gets VERY loose on chicken based food.

It could also be the amount. Too much food causes loose stool (Thanks for that info Peter).
All I can say is: Tug is doing so much better on Orijen 6-Fish than on ANY other food, including Natural Balance Duck & Potato.
