This past fall, Rowdy lost Molly & Annie. Because of Rowdy's blindness he depended on them to lead him around the property so he was very withdrawn for several weeks after they were lost to us.
About 1 month ago a stray cat showed up on our deck while Rowdy was sleeping there. For some reason, Rowdy who had never in his life seen a cat bonded immediately with this strange beast .. This video is the result after a few weeks of meeting on the deck. They now are together every day out there.

Don't tell me that animals aren't far superior to humans. That video says it all. More compassion, more willingness to accept someone different from you, the ability to see way past someones flaws and find the good in them...I could go on, but you know what I mean.

Ok, in all seriousness, that is a super sweet video. I love the fact that they get along so well. It just warms the heart. Oh wait...that's the rum. No, no, on second thought it IS the video. ;)
