There's been some tornado activity spotted around the Dayton area tonight and major flooding in north central Ohio yesterday & tonight. Plus an F1 tornado in north central OH last night.
How are all Ohio NNers doing? Annie?? Jeannie?? Erin?? Et all... Stay safe everyone!

I heard a tornado was near the Dayton mall tonight which is south of Annie. We have had nothing here. Susan I believe the storm is heading your way. Take cover and check in when you get this.

We finally got an inch and a half of rain today! Couple of loud boomers but that was about it. Stay safe Buckeyes!

I'm glad to hear all's well with you Jeannie. Anyone heard from Annie or Susan today?

I know we have some more northern OH people here too. They've been getting hammered with severe storms and flooding for the past few days now. The Muskingum river was 6 feet over it's banks, and several roads have been closed and campers evacuated to shelters. Stay safe all, and check in when you can.

Isn't summer weather fun?

Oh, just seeing this, one of the tornados touched down about five miles from my house. We're fine, but the storm was on three sides of us. It was a little eerie for a while last night.

I kept hearing this soft noise, but wasn't sure what it was. About a half hour later when I turned the TV on, I realized it was the Tornado sirens where I live! Geez, I guess I'll pay closer attention next time. ;)

Eeep Susan! That's a little too close for comfort. I'm glad you and yours are ok. From the sound of things, (or lack of) it may be time to talk to the powers that be about getting a warning siren a little closer to your house!

We're fine! Thanks Amy! After the tornado touched down by the Dayton Mall, it headed in a NE direction right at us. I felt like a sitting duck. But that particular storm cell broke apart.

This served as a reminder that all our extra dog crates need to be set up in the basement just in case this happens again. Geesh!
