It is not completely open yet but my first day is July 11th! I am still keeping my daycare business just adding this as a way to get out of the house...LOL Wish me luck!

Oh I have friends that work for Fed Ex. They love it. It's only part time for them and they are as happy as three clams at high tide!!

Thanks guys, No I won't be tired after watching the kids. I don't go to bed now until 12am or so, I am looking at this job as a "way to get outta the house" job...LOL. FedEx is a great company from what I hear. I will be in charge and oversee Quality Control so my job won't be that physical. I do have to get a pair of work boots, not steel toe though. I've never worn boots in my life. ;) . I start July 11th. FedEx is always hiring just go to their site. I will work for FedEx Ground so you can check their site for openings, I'm sure there are plenty since the company has doubled in size in 5 years and they are adding 3 new hubs to the NorthEast this year alone.

You're right. In your situation it would not be funny and would be an incredibly expensive loss. But the way you said it!!!
I couldn't help myself!!

So, I gotta know, do they insure sperm? It would have to remain frozen wouldn't it?

We use fed ex to ship frozen fish!!! Because we can insure it!!

1) After my husband got done laughing he asked, "How much does the sperm actually cost."
2) Can you insure it?

actually you pay the collection and shipping costs, for instance, hawaii to collect twice was six hundred, *cough* to ship ups 110$(wich did get there overnight for sat morning as promised), shipment fed ex not gauranteed overnight like they promised it would be, was 60$ from hawaii. Plus the Stud kits, being 50$ a piece.
the owner of the stud on the other end insures it, several people i know insure it for the price of an est litter of pups.
it really is worth that much considering.
;)
my hubby said, there is something wrong with this!!!
imagine for horses what they pay, or bulls! LOL

That didnt even touch on the progesterone costs, wich we did several at 80$ a piece, the AI or the Stud fee, or the C section wich was 1000$ with the emergency umbilical trim, than the shots for pups twice, and i am broke.
actually in the hole big time.

Christine...that's a great example for people who think they want to breed! My son is a horse breeder in Maryland and they ship semen all the time, all over the world, it's a big busines and expensive. Oh, and he is still repulsed by bully sticks! wimp!
