Not ready for raw

But I have been thinking about homecooked... anyone on NN feed this way? Any websites to investigate? I'm a total newbie to nutrition; I know that protien and calcium levels need to be within certain boundaries, but other than that I am a complete idiot. Since Max may have some food allergies, I'd like to find out more about this...

There are a few books out there. However, just remember that when you cook the food, you are cooking out the enzymes.

Please remember that even with homecooked and/or raw that is NOT a guarantee that the food allergies will be eliminated. Just as with kibble, YOU have to figure out what the food allergy is.

Dex was on raw for 2 years before we realized the food allergy for him was lamb. He hasn't had lamb in over 3 years now and is doing fine.
