These are great, I especially love the houses on the Mekong. Reminds me of Bangkok....ahhh....

But, I know I'm getting a bit too homesick when I see an OMO sign and get a pang

Thank you!

Neat pictures. Certainly is different from what we're used to. I can't imagine buying my pet food by the scoop! (I usually get the 50 pound bags!) Thanks for sharing with us.

Interesting pics! My husband's cousin has been there for several months and visits frequently.
How did you pick Vietnam for a trip?

Apparently they DO eat dogs there, but rarely. A delicasy, supposedly. It's a bit weird really as there are pet dogs everywhere - never on leashes, just walking around - most people seemed to have dogs and cats as pets. I think a lot of the dogs just eat leftovers like rice and stuff. That was the only 'real' petfood we saw for sale.

We didn't see any dogs for sale to eat but heard from people that did. I think Korea may be more into dog? Not sure.

NewfYork - Vietnam is all of a sudden a really hot travel destination for Australians and it seems, people from the UK too. If we ever approached a westerner - and there were many there - they were nearly always Aussies!
