Hi everyone;
I'm not a Newf owner presently, but I had a sweet girl for 2 years. Her name is Cookie, and she was adopted through SENC Rescue into another family. I haven't seen her since January 2005, and she'll be six next month (yep I remember her b-day). Cookie was my first Newf and I want another one so badly (just not feasible right now and I don't have the room). Cookie was a 170 pound cuddlebug who was so stinkin' smart. She loved to watch me put on my makeup in the morning and she inspected all my cosmetics with her Newf stamp of approval. She was also very good at waking me up in the middle of the night just so she could go outside and lay on the cool grass at 3 a.m. She took my heart with her. SO....I found NN and have been lurking around here! :whistling:
If anyone is in North Carolina and wouldn't mind someone else hugging their Newfs, here I am! :sunflower: I'm glad to find this site and enjoy reading about your babies' escapades and see their sweet faces. :kiss:
