Sound Bay Newfs

Oh, that poor boy! At least he is where his medical needs will be taken care of and it sounds like they are actively looking for a home for him. Actually I hope his new family will be someone from a cooler climate.

Yes, my dh said the animal hospitals there are really state of the art. So, the dog is in good hands. Just didn't know if there were any Indians lurkikng on the forums, since there are people from Australia here. Definitely I hope someone from North East India adopts him, Delhi has a similar climate in the winter to Northern Virginia...etc..
My fil (Indian)lurked last week to find out about Newfs wondering what his crazy dil and son were getting themselves into! He now is reassurred that they are great dogs. *L* I am sure the dog will find a good home.

Oh my gosh... the poor baby!!! I'm not sure if there's anything Newf Rescue here in the States can do, however, I've sent the link to several members of NCA Rescue, just in case they have some ideas!!!

Oh my  Isn't India too hot a country for a Newfie? It breaks my heart to hear of something like this :( Wish we could all stand arm to arm and reach across and bring him here. Can the rescue leagues do anything to get him over here?

Brenda and Kodi :(

Actually India has very varied climates. New Delhi's is very similar to No. Va, very cold in the winter, very hot in the summer. There are the Himalayas too, but since most of those Mts. are in Kashmir I doubt anyone would get a newf right now there(war torn).
Dh was wanting to call the number in Mumbai that was listed for the hospital, but I told him he should think about what he is going to stay first as there are very many people that would take care of him wonderfully. There is lots of water for swimming!
Of course, I was hoping that there was an Indian-American on this list that may be going to India soon, or an Indian (in India)since I am sure there are newf lovers in India (saw the last name Krishnamurthy on the newf-l, that is an Indian last name).
Oh well. If we were going anytime soon, Dh would bring him back in a heartbeat. The human plane tickets run the cheapest $1000 a piece, so since we are dishing out a little more than a plane ticket for Elle tomorrow, we can't go and the nwef in India! *L*

Oh, the poor angel. :(

I SO hope someone takes in this boy.

It's so typical of a Newfie to be sitting forelonely with a lost expression on its face after being abandoned, don't you think?
