The power of prayer is AMAZING. Kali has been getting up and having me take her outside to go number 1 AND number 2 DAILY!
She sometimes gets a little ahead of herself with the hop and I have to slow her down, and when I do, she is slowly putting her foot down and putting some soft pressure on it!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!
Tonite, I was feeding my other 2, and I turned around, and guess who was standing in the doorway waiting to get to the water bowl.....my mom and I almost fell over! So, in typical Kali style, she pushed Buddy and Ginger out of her way, got herself a drink, and pushed her way back out of the kitchen. (YOU GO GIRL!!) I always bring her her water, but I guess she wanted to do it on her own!
I've adjusted my schedule in work so that I am home at 12 everyday until her stitches are out, and today, she finished her last antibiotics and I'm slowly cutting her back on her pain pills by one pill every 3 days. This is wonderful. (I really thought I wouldn't make it through this in one piece!)
And, I almost forgot, the day after Kali came home from surgery, Ginger turned 2! (I NEVER thought I was going to make it through THAT!) But Ginger has turned into quite the young lady! (Learning under Kali's tootalig of course!) And what a nurse maid Ginger is to Kali! I'm so very proud of both of them!
Will keep you posted.
