Why NCA?

Are you a member of the NCA? Have you chosen not to join? Are you a new Newfoundland owner just learning about the breed and the club? We want to hear from you! The NCA Steering Committee is interested in understanding why Newfoundland owners do, or do not, choose to belong to the Newfoundland Cub of America (NCA). This survey is open to NCA members and non-members alike; it is not an anonymous survey, nor is it scientific. Are they planning to send this to members? I just received the newsletter and saw nothing about this. There are lots of things I think they could do better, but will have to have a think on those items.

Complete. One thing I noted is that local group for me noted on the NCA site has not been updated since 2011. Next closest one has nothing on its calendar of events for 2014 except a dog show and business meetings. Need more activities to entice folks to join. Why would I pay to do a dog show (I still have to pay to go) and attend breeder business meetings as a pet owner?
