Last July 3, Mike and I put our name in with the breeder we like for another puppy. Mike had a fatal heart attack September 12, after that I heard from the breeder they were expecting puppies Dec. 15. They were born Dec. 14, and next month I will be getting another boy. Mike and I decided when Sully was around 7 to try for another. My poor Sully has had different health issues lately, and Purdue is still trying to find out, possibly his thyroid is not acting right, but I think he misses Mike so much it has affected him also. I know he will be thrilled with another Newfie in the house, and hopefully the happiness of another will make him feel better also.
Sully has been Mike's and my favorite dog we have ever had, and decided we wanted another. I am just thrilled!!

I am just thrilled. This is just what you need. In fact, you should name him Doctor, because he's "just what the doctor ordered". Can't wait for pictures.

I got new computers at my office and at home, and have had cataract surgery, so I have had a hard time getting back on here, I am going to get him one of the last two weeks of February. If she takes puppies to PA, it will be the last week, if not I will drive there the next to the last week.
I am thinking his name will be Duggan. In St. Croix, Virgin Islands, there is a restaurant named Duggans Reef that Mike and I liked, and the owner was a Vietnam Vet like Mike.
