need opinion please

My parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in July. We are so excited about this because we nearly lost my dad from a major stroke last year.
I'm designing the invitations. I colorized all of the old photos and made a collage for the front. A black background looks awesome but will kill me in ink, so I am going to go with a tan color invitation paper. What do you guys think?

That looks perfect! It highlights the pictures well & since the 50th Anniv. is the Golden one, the color fits nicely with this theme.

Thanks everyone so much for your input!
It's not a surprise but my four brothers and I are taking care of all the arrangements. It's really difficult to plan a party from 1200 miles away.

I did change a few things, however. I added a lace background as a border from her wedding dress. It dresses it up a little better. I also turned up the opacity on the old photos because someone suggested that it would look a little better and she was right.

Sometimes things look great on the monitor until you do a test print. The old pictures were hard to see when they were printed.
I also wanted to show you the inside. I changed dates and location because I'm posting it on the web. Although I really wouldn't mind if some newf-netters crashed the party with their dogs!

Fifty years is quite an accomplishment. My parents celebrated their 50th four years ago. It was a very special occasion for us kids to recognize our parents on their special day. Enjoy!!!!!!
