My Dog Skookum.com launching this weekend!

It has been a long time coming.... but finally our website is nearly done. We have hit a lot of unexpected snags, but we're almost there!

We will have a gallery of all our dogs, and bios of all of us... not sure when the blog will be ready, but the "store" should be operational. Some of you visited our booth at the National last year; we will have all those items and more. I never dreamed it would take this long to get our website up, but then, there's a lot to it.

Whether you're in the market for a Newfie-emblazened product or not, please visit our site and meet us! We love to connect with other Newfie-lovers.

By the way, our Skookie-boy is now just over 1 year old; weighs about 140, and sometimes he's very sweet and sometimes a juvenile delinquent... and always adored.

I really need to change my avatar to reflect a more current Skookum Tumtum!

Although I was told it would happen this weekend, it's now 5pm on Sunday and I still have not heard from my man who's finishing the website... it is so frustrating! He has a full time job and 5 kids, and has to fit in time to work on the website. So I can understand how it might be difficult to give me a precise date and time for its completion... I will just try to be patient, and eventually it will happen!

You know I will let you all know as soon as I do!

YAY! We're finally UP! Okay, not all aspects of it--no blog yet, and you still can't get to the "Meet Skookum and Family" page, "Resources" or "Dog Rescues," but the Photos and Goodies and the Store are both up. Oh, I found mistakes right away. I'm a proofer. So it hurts me to see "decor" spelled "decore," or an "s" stuck on the end of "Skookum" (MyDogSkookums.com !!!???) over and over, but what the heck! It's up! We'll fix that stuff later!!

Well, whether you buy anything or not, I would really appreciate any feedback on the site. I hope you enjoy the pictures and when the bio's come out--mini biographies of each of our dogs--and my husband and I.

Whew! It's been a long wait!
