I am desperate....we are reseeding this spring but until then we have a huge amount of fresh deep mud our dogs are getting all over their paws.
Has anyone tried the "paw plunger" with success? It's on amazon for $25.
I have tried separate water containers and the bath and it's all so MESSY!
Losing my mind here but don't want to try another useless gadget.

I looked at it....Mine (Gabriel especially) would freak out about seven different ways if I tried to stick a paw in that thing. Of course mine have always been protective of their paws. Yours might not be as sensitive.
And you will still have to dry the paws off.
A shallow pan of water and some towels is what I've always used.

I think that would be very hard to use on Snuffles back legs definitely and not sure on the front. The best way for me to do anything with Snuffles paws is to get him laid out on his side, and this device looks like it has to be used up/down.

We use towels and we have a verandah which they stay on for a short time, whilst walking the worst mud off.......And we have 4 paws x 6..........I have taught my dogs to love the towelling and they even give thier feet to me now. Harry still has tolearn this and our muddy season is here very soon (hopefully, instead of a drought)

We just use a shallow pan/bowl of water and some old towels. We either do this on the back porch or as soon as she comes in. It takes less than a minute. I just have her stand there, swish each foot and dry.

If its bad I just use the water hose on the back porch.

No escaping it. I just wipe the paws and floor. I also leave old comforters laying around that I wash frequently. I gave up on washing the floors until the spring thaw is over. I was more anal about it when my daughter was younger.

I have a fenced off area where the dogs can play. On the far side is grass which can get muddy in the spring rains, but the muddy paws have to travel through stone and then a concrete porch to come in. If it's a soaking rain I throw down a bed sheet over the rug, but everything else is Pergo or linoleum, easy to wipe. If they're really bad I have a double wide shower with a hand held sprayer just 5 ft from the entrance.
