Thanks for showing off those two..they are lovely..only one problem. HB has been sidling up to the floor mirror..and pulling off 'cleavers', rye grass and taggy bits of spiderweb...ever since the stunning gleam on the 'kids'..was noticed. Sigh..I figure I am going to have to have..'the talk again'..as to..we're country folk..and all you guys are Up Town! ;) ina n HB

This was Caties (pronounced Katies) second trip to the nursing home where my Mother-in-law now lives. The lady in the chair is one of her table mates at meals. I asked her for permission to place this photo here and she agreed. Almost everyone comes out to see the big black bear that walks down their halls when we come to visit. They ask how much does she weigh, what breed is she, does she bite, can I touch her and smiles can be seen everywhere she goes.

Catie has a lot in common with the residents, she had both hips replaced and an OTC on her right shoulder before she was a year and a half old. Since she came from a breeder who claims a long history of producing quality dogs we were sent another puppy. We chose to pay the difference and get a bronze who arrived on a Tuesday.

I have more pictures of our last visit together but will not post any without permission of all people in these pictures. One of my favorites is of a staff member holding her leash so they are the only two in the picture and her looking off camera at me as if to ask "what is going on here?". Just want you all to know how much we enjoy seeing your fur kids as well as sharing about ours.
