I feel guilty for not posting forever and ever but the real world once again caught up with us and I changed jobs etc etc.
Anyway, I very sad to report that after all of the battles with our little rescue girl Matilda (remember the UTI's, the incontinence problems, the eye infections, the ear infections, the tplo/acl repair...) we have hit a new obstacle.
Matty had a tumor found at our last vet visit and upon xraying some more we have found that she has what appears to be cancerous tumors along the mammary glands, breastplate and into the lungs.
It's day by day from now on. As long as she is comfortable and free of pain everything is fine. We're just a bit closer to the reality that her time with us is growing shorter.
If anyone knows any tricks of the trade...herbal or whatnot that may or may not help her out it would be greatly appreciated.
