Maple Festival Parade

On Saturday Elvis' local newf group joined some of the Penn-Ohio Newfoundland Club to walk in the Maple Festival parade in Chardon, Ohio. Our group was sponsored by Chardon Brew Works. The dogs who could draft pulled empty beer kegs and after the parade we gathered back at the bar to hang out and celebrate.

We had 14 newfs and were the hit of the parade, if you ask me!

Craft beer and a bunch of newfs - my kind of Saturday! People started coming in just to see all the dogs..........even if they did become a bit of a tripping hazard.

Of course Mr. Social had to find himself a nice corner to sit in. Also Elvis would like you to know that the bib adds 15 pounds. I don't know why he looks so gigantic in this picture!

Stacy, this parade was laid out so nicely. There was an ATV in front of us and a motorcycle behind us, but Elvis barely even blinked. He loved the attention from the crowd and being with so many other dogs really kept him calm. I was so proud!
